Ingrid is a physiotherapist who has speciailsed in lymphoedema management. She has a particular interest in early intervention and re-establishing function after surgery. Ingrid is passionate about working with each individual to achieve their best possible outcome.
Ingrid has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2006 and worked in rehabilitation before going on to complete a Masters in Physiotherapy. Since 2011, she has been involved in lymphoedema management, completing both level 1 and level 2 lymphoedema training and has experience managing a variety of related issues including lipoedema.
Ingrid has experience working in both the public and private hospital systems. Ingrid was formerly employed as the Lymphoedema Team Leader at Mt Wilga Private Hospital in Sydney, and more recently has worked with lymphoedema patients in the ACT public health service.
As a member of the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA), Ingrid is committed to providing a high level of evidence-based patient care. She is also registered on the National Lymphoedema Practitioners Register (NLPR). She brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in lymphoedema management.
Ingrid is passionate about holistic management of lymphoedema and recognises the importance of meeting each individuals need no mInatter what stage they are at. Ingrid advocates the importance of early identification of lymphoedema and intervention to promote the best possible outcomes.
